Matthew O'Leary is a founding partner of O’Leary Wallace LLP. He practices trusts, estates, and elder law, with a special emphasis on special needs planning, conservatorships, and probate and trust litigation.
In 2010, Matthew moved to the central coast to join the boutique elder law and estate planning law firm of Stephen K. Hall & Associates. Before coming to San Luis Obispo, he worked for a boutique civil litigation law office in San Jose, California, served as a law clerk at the Santa Clara County and Santa Cruz County District Attorney’s Offices, and held a judicial clerkship in the Family and Probate Division of the Sacramento County Superior Court.
Matthew is a Northern California product (Woodland, Calif.) who first came to the central coast to pursue college athletics in the early 2000s. His history with the area made it especially rewarding to Matthew to return from the Silicon Valley in 2010.
Matthew lives in San Luis with his wife, Stacey, their two young children, and their two fluffy dogs. If he’s not at work, Matthew is probably with his family at Avila Beach, playing bocce ball at Baileyana Winery, at Mountainbrook Church in SLO, or on a basketball court or golf course.
